When you tap on an app, Freedom adds a short delay (up to 5 seconds) before opening it. This small pause helps you become more intentional and avoid opening apps impulsively.

Accessibility Service Usage: This launcher uses the Accessibility Service API to enable the "Double Tap to Lock Screen" optional feature. The user can enable this feature from the Settings screen, where the user will be asked to allow the accessibility permission.

This service is required to perform the screen lock action when the user double taps on the home screen.

The Accessibility Service is used only for this functionality and is not used to collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

Specifically, the Accessibility Service is used for:

• Locking the device screen when the user double-taps on the launcher home screen
• Improving user convenience and device control

This app does not:

• Collect personal data
• Monitor user activity
• Read typed text
• Access sensitive information

The Accessibility permission is optional and can be disabled at any time in device settings.
